Empowering every child by supporting youth literacy

Welcome to Young Readers' Society. We are a non-profit organization supporting primary schools and hospitals across London.

Why Us

Themed workshops

Support spelling & vocabulary

Encourage creativity

Boost confidence in reading

At Young Readers' Society, we make reading engaging by integrating hands-on activities like arts and crafts, movement, and games that tie into the books we explore. By blending creativity with learning, we aim to inspire a love of reading in every child and help them develop crucial literacy skills in an interactive and enjoyable way.

What we do

yrs_edited.jpg

For the past two years, we have partnered with George Eliot Primary School to support young readers aged 5 to 7, helping them build confidence and a love for reading through engaging read-aloud sessions and craft activities. Expanding our impact beyond the classroom, we host biweekly literacy events at London-based hospitals, bringing the joy of books to children in need of comfort and inspiration. Through storytelling, we are committed to making literacy accessible and enjoyable for every child.

How It Works
